The Tyrwhitt Rosebank self catering apartments

Another day another review.

Are you guys enjoying these? Anyway, this is another year of hotel beds and enjoying the comfort of white hotel bedsheets.

The Tyrwhitt is the perfect place for a staycation; this family-friendly self-catering Apartment/hotel is one for the books and is impressive. I never cared to sleep away from home when I am in Johannesburg because I live here, but now I really care, and I am politely asking the universe to give me more days like these.

My stay here with my family last year was delightful. All the staff members were eager to help – We booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment that had a view that was to die for – showcasing the Johannesburg skyline effortlessly. That stay taught me that I don’t appreciate my city enough – I dwell on what is unpleasant about it instead of enjoying the variety it has to offer. There is a variety of restaurants, malls, clubs, schools, accommodation, people, parks, transportation in close proximity.

My concerns were mostly about how much of a maze it would be getting to our room as a result of the long corridors. I presented my concerns about this to the staff members before arriving at the property they quickly sought out a solution.  Words cannot describe how fresh the linen was, how relaxing the bathtub was and how great the location is for Uber Eats options.

The location gets a 10/10  – Walking distance to Rosebank Mall, opposite 54 on Bath for a lovely Dinner, and 2min away from Joburg’s party scene -You can save on all Uber fees. Those who cringe at the thought of going far to find what you are missing in your accommodation of choice this place will save you from that – it has done most of the groundwork for you,

Honestly, the perfect bed to relax after a busy workday in the city that doesn’t sleep. It felt like a haven for my family and I – on a busy street, but we couldn’t hear any noise once we closed the windows and sliding door. Maybe love isn’t what we know it to be – perhaps it is just finding a place that puts you at ease and provides a pleasant way to usher you into your wildest dreams.

There’s a special kind of magic that comes with following your gut when booking accommodation.

Thanks to Tembela and his team at Home from Home Johannesburg for a comfortable stay.

XO
